No....he was Aussie. And therein lies her skill. Most of the Italian blokes I have met are only too able to respond to a bit of flirting and caress you with those melting eyes. My cousin gets even misogynists drooling.

Hi sweetheart
Jenny is OK thanks but does face major surgery,-she is going to lose most of her tounge, her molar teeth and have bi-lateral removal of the nodes in her neck. Then weeks of radio-therapy.
The saddest thing was yesterday when she broke down and asked if I would still love her when she was scarred and ugly.
Women???-they no nothing of us men :-)

Well, I am sorry to hear that too, Stephan.
There is a rough time ahead for both of you I'm afraid...but we'll do our best to cheer you up by telling you tales of our gourmet inedible dinners out.

Oh Stephan, I just read your post. I have typed and re-typed a response, but none of it seems right. I can only say, most sincerely, I send her and you my love. What an ordeal. But if it saves her life, and they must be confident of that, then that is what counts. There are some very "superficially beautiful" people in the world that have no substance and will never find the love that you two share. Much love, Lil xxxxx

Thanks everyone. Actually I have learned a lot about eating out during the past three weeks.
Hospital canteens serve a very good breakfast and a passable lunch-and cheap!!

Our local hospital doesn't...I had a suasage roll that should have been reported under trade descriptions. It was like eating hot meat paste enclosed in a Jiffy bag. Except it didn't taste of any meat once living...

Oh dear...."Except it didn't taste of any meat once living..."....and you were in a hospital restaurant??? I have to restrain myself from doing somefink immoral sometimes. Near me is a huge hospital with a fabulous restaurant, meals are really good and very cheap. All the doctors and nursing staff and admin people eat there, and people who are visiting patients. Sometimes there are people in there hooked up to weird machines and one revolting man was wandering around with his bag of wee swinging nonchalently from his hand. I mean, good on him for being brave and stuff, but waving his wee? In a restaurant??? Anyway, I *could* go in there and 'ave a nice 'ot dinner for a few bucks, no one would know, but that is wrong, isn't it. ....
