Nicer though. You need a decent Baguette to do it properly, the kind where you can cut your mouth on the crust. oooooch! I can't stand bread that does that. My eyes go glazed and I sit there in silent agony  |

I do that with salad. Not really the same, is it? No. ahhh! but is saves calories for boozin'! |

Mr. E. hates marrow with a passion. Says it makes him gag. As does custard, aspic jelly and mashed potato.  The best thing to do with marrow is to chop it small and chuck it on the compost heap. Still, as a lifelong loather of custard, have you tried serving custard, aspic and mash seperately?  |
