This is in the old farm near Portnahaven (I think it used to be a milk farm). I know every inch of that village. I spend every single summer holiday in life there when I was a schoolgirl.

I am so excited.

Most of the distilleries are on the other side of the island, esp. clustered round Port Ellen, but this one is down the other side of the horseshoe.

Half a litre of fluid a day doesn't sound possible to me either. Perhaps it is easier because of the low salt intake?

Anyway, I confess to preferring a good blended whisky to a malt.
