Why Oh Why Oh Why! Must everything be bloody cops or Jane bloody Austen dramatisations! It's so depressing when there are so many literary geniuses (geniii?) out there going unrewarded! So BB is watching Emma on BBC2 then?

I fell asleep on the couch halfway through the trial, so I don't know the outcome yet.
I plan to re-watch it today and try to stay awake.

I know this thread is about CJ, but, as an aside, I thought the bit I saw of Emma was not up to scratch. I only watched a half hour but that was enough for me.
And this from a dedicated Pride and Prejudice fan.

Not up to scratch, yes! That's exactly the phrase. It's not rubbish but it's not anything else either.
I am continuing with it, I feel obliged because I loved the book. Also because Mr Knightley is a bit of alright.

Also because Mr Knightley is a bit of alright. Who's your favourite Mr. Knightley on film? I'm having a job choosing between Jeremy Northam and Mark Strong. I think probably Mark Strong.
