What made you think of Brokeback, Everso? Costal mentioned Donnie Darko, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal who was one of the leads in Brokeback Mountain. Have you seen it Aubrey? It's a very emotional film. Plus two guys kiss, but in a very emotional way. It also helped that they were very handsome.

So the general Stub consensus is pro gay porn? Excellent.
Today i watched a film called 'What Women Want'. It didn't really work, as it appeared to star Mel Gibson living in the 1950s but was set in the 1990s. As a searing insight into gender issues, it wasn't.
The only good bit was when Mel first gained the power to hear what women thought. He'd been living his life making what he thought were all these flirtatious/funny/cute/etc. remarks to women, and it took the ability to hear what women were thinking to realise that most women thought he was just a sexist prick.
It reminds me of a poster I know on mbs (no name, no pack drill) who seems convinced that he is charming the laydeez . . .
There's a lesson there for you boys. Maybe.

Ban Aubrey for being naughty! Why not? After all, I love the smell of a banning in the morning (apparently). But then again, on the other hand, Aubrey is a pussy cat. So it wouldn't be fair to ban him.

A good film for convalescing to has to be Stephen King's "Misery".

I've got nothing against gay porn. Apparently a fair number of straight woman like it, and good for them. I don't think I'd watch it myself, though I have argued in favour of it before now.
I've not seen Brokeback, though I wouldn't mind doing.

Film that (typically) has been on a couple of times recently and I'd never bothered with before/wasn't conscious of, yet I ended up watching it both times! Is "A Good Year" with Russell Crowe. After all - the very fact that it's based on a novel by the annoying Peter Mayle is enough to put anyone off - but I think it's Crowe and Ridley Scott over luscious handling of it that make this worthwhile. Even if it is formulaic romance stuff.
