...to put purple grape juice on my shopping list. This claim isn't new - I'm sure I read about it some time go, but immediately forgot what I was supposed to be buying, and why.

It's a little bit suspect when you see a particularly 'named' product used in surveys like this - why would it be promoted that it's particularly Concord grape juice? Surely any old grape juice would do! As they say, you can make up any old statistics if you throw enough money at the statistiscians! That said though, Blueberries have long been thought to help stimulate brian activity, so really it's down to just eating healthily. I may buy a few more fruit juices this week - My liver is complaining a bit this morning!

Any other type of grape juice must be poisonous.
I used to think that recipes on the back of packets of ingredients were to be taken literally - you had to use (say) Co-op butter, or else something dreadful would happen.

That's so weird, because after all, what is wine if not grape juice?
Yet, the more I drink of wine, the greater my memory loss.
