Goddam it, vote for Lady and the Tramp! For crying out loud, Peggy Lee sings in it! That bloody Jungle Book drives me up the wall. Beth and Dan make me watch it nearly every week. Stupid kid, stupid panther, stupid bear, stupid snake, stupid tiger. King Louis is only passable because it's Louis Prima's voice. Vote Lady and the Tramp, Lady and the Tramp, your eyes are closing, Ladeeee and the Trammmmpppp. I have a feeling I might be falling out of favour with Trubbs.

WHAT?? Fantasia beat Lady and the Tramp? That must be a fix.
Fantasia was pretty crap as Disney films go (immho).
I'm distraught.

Excellent result.
What should the next topic be?
Best comedienne?
Joan Rivers Victoria Wood French & Saunders
The list is endless I imagine although it seems to have momentarily ended here.

Morwenna Banks and her little ''it's true'' girl character from Absolutely is a favourite of mine. I used to like Rita Rudner too. Ruby Wax?

I changed my mind at one stage and think I voted for the Lady and the Tramp in the end. It is a long time since I saw it; same with Fantasia.
I might do a poll on the best fictional detective. I might start a thread and ask for nominations, but not until I get my computer mended.....and come back from my trip to the Canary Islands.
In the meantime, have a think about whether I should include characters that appear just in books, just on TV or both.

As usual, we are as one (except for The Jungle Book thing, for which I'm still seething) Morwenna Banks used to do this so well and it was my favourite too. In fact I still sometimes say "It IS, it's true" if Mr. E. ever questions something I've said. He knows what I mean, but I don't think anyone else does (except you).

Doon Mackichan & Rebecca Front are awesome. Mainly because they do a lot of work with Steve Coogan and Chris Morris. AH

...........and Doon Mack is sort of cute, too. Absolutely fans will be delighted to know that it is available on both Channel 4od and You Tube now - after many years when the writers and performers fought to get even the DVD's released! (A bit like The Goodies). www.youtube.com/show?p=zxqOerqc7AY&s=1
