You stick it on top of your boiled egg and it will pick up Radio 2.

I rather like this gadget at the moment..... Weigh solids and measure liquids in the same jug. This remarkable breakthrough combines digital scales and a one litre measuring jug, showing both weights and liquid measurements to save you time when cooking - and with no need to wash up lots of separate bowls. Thanks to its smart add-and-weigh function, the jug can measure all the liquids necessary for a recipe - water, milk, oil, wine - then go straight onto solid ingredients such as flour and sugar.
* Large LCD screen in handle displays weights and volumes * Displays choice of grams, lbs/ozs, fl ozs, mls * Jug also features traditional liquid measure gradation on both sides * Auto power off (after 5 mins) * Low battery indicator * Longlife button battery included

They can't be for real breakfasts 'cos I've never seen them in MacDonalds.
Hmmm
Are they for taking the top off your hard boiled egg?
Patrick - that monstrosity looks cheap & nasty. The kind of thing you would see advertised by K-Tel in a cheesey tv ad.

...or ''name that kitchen gadget''. What's this then? It's six separate items and is involved with fondue. I've noticed that a lot of silly foody things are something to do with fondue. Unsurprisingly.

some thing to prop up your newspaper...... i have no idea. A gentleman wouldn't use such an unnatural thing to prop up his newspaper. (Being a gentleman, I am unable to explain further, other than to mention that I read only broadsheets.)

Ooh - I want one. But - is there a gizmo for making the perfect boiled egg? Runny yolk but cooked white? Yes, it's called a saucepan. Just add boiling water and an egg and 4 minutes later...hey presto!
