I just realised that, in The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly
Eli Wallach looks a bit like Jamesie Cotter Lee van Cleef looks a bit like Johnny Depp and Clint Eastwood is the spitting image of that bloke in Rawhide.

the GBU is an amazing film. Would it have been improved if Herbie was in it?

Spaghetti westerns were brilliant. They had a quirkiness about them and never took themselves too seriously unlike the atypical Alan Ladd in Shane Hollywood epic. Eli Wallach was a fantastic actor. And he's still with us. He's 94 years old.

Eli Wallach was 7 kinds of fucking awesome in the "Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo" Incidentally, all three of those Clint Eastwood classics will be out on Blu-Ray later on in the year. AH

GBU is a great hangover film, despite all the banging.
