It was.
I never got round to see the London exhibition, but it was apparently very busy so I'm quite glad I didn't bother, because I think the BBC saved me a bomb!

Actually, funny thing. Do you remember a while back when Weyland was trying to make us all pronounce Van Gogh correctly? Well, tonight on QI (can't remember if it was the BBC QI or the Dave one) there was a question on how to pronounce Van Gogh. They all got it wrong. I remembered though!  I was coughing for several minutes afterwards. |

yep - saw that bit before ( i think tonights was a repeat) but when it was on first time around i got it right thanks to Weylands excellent discription of how you should pronounce the name of van gogh.  |

hmmmmmmmm.. i aint sure what language it is in. i pressumed it be dutch ( as we were talking about van googghhhgggggkkggghhhhmmakakak ) so a qwuick translation on babelfish tells me that it means ' Gladly done, hear.' which makes about as much sense as babelfish, or indeed Weyland, ever makes.  does anyone else ever use babelfish? does anyone else suspect it doesnt translate anythink at all but just spews out random words at you? |

Agreed. Whenever I've used any on-line translator it never seems to make much sense.
(Is it translator or translater? I think translator looks the more correct)

P if that posts loks are smattering of the found oneself V.N., because I typed out it in English, then it in Dutch with babelfish translated and then it to English translated to see again or mangled it omhoog a smattering. I think the qwuite honestly said.
