Ok alpha, here's what you teach your child when you teach them the Santa myth: 1 - Grown-ups lie 2 - Grown-ups are not to be trusted 3 - People can come into your bedroom while you are asleep 4 - Santa, who gives presents, loves rich kids more than he loves you, because rich kids always get more from Santa than you do. It's FREAKY Nah. It's magic. It's excitement. It's the whole raison d'etre for the miserable two months beforehand. And when the illusion is revealed you get something even better, it wasn't a weird old ghost like man with scary super powers, the magic and excitement was made for you by your mum and dad and all the adults around you including your horrible older cousins, even they colluded to give you that, and the best bit is you can join the club now and give the magic and presents to the next one down, and you're in on the secret when your little silly sister isn't ha ha and you get to see the magic she's experiencing and it reminds you of how excited and happy you were, and how loved you felt when Father Christmas left you the surprise your mother had groomed you to ask for in the letter, and that magic stays with you and you have learned the importance and joy of passing down traditions to the next generation and you have learned the joy of giving. Now God Bless Us One An All.

As in:
"Hello? Myth?"
"You what?"
"Aim Sorry, I 'ave a cold"
Just thought I'd clarify that.
