Zsa Zsa's getting the last ritesActress Zsa Zsa Gabor has received her last rites from a priest in a Los Angeles hospital following surgery to remove two blood clots.
"Zsa Zsa Gabor has seen a priest and is not doing very well. She's in a serious condition," her publicist told AFP.
The actress, 93, was readmitted to UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center days after her release following hip surgery.
The star was originally admitted to hospital in July after falling and breaking several bones.
Publicist John Blanchette said Gabor's ninth husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, and members of her family were with her at the hospital on Sunday.
Gabor, who starred in films including Moulin Rouge and Touch of Evil, is partially paralysed following a car accident in 2002 and a stroke in 2005.I am not aware of EVER having watched a film with Zsa Zsa Gabor in it. Yet, for some reason, I know exactly who she is? How's that? Anyway, it seems her days are coming to an end. Very sad. Or not.

Actor Zsa Zsa Gabor asked for a priest to read her the last rites last night as she remained in an extremely serious condition in hospital.
The 93-year-old Hollywood legend, who married nine times, was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on Friday due to complications from hip surgery and underwent surgery on Saturday to remove two blood clots.
Gabor, perhaps more famous for her string of wealthy husbands than her film roles, was visited by a priest at the Ronald Reagan UCLA medical centre, according to her husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt. She was able to speak "very little", though she was conscious, according to publicist John Blanchette.
The actor broke her hip on 17 July when she fell out of bed while watching the television game show Jeopardy. She was discharged last Wednesday but readmitted just two days later due to complications. "Her health has been up and down ever since," said Blanchette.
Gabor was born on 6 February 1918 as Sari Gabor in Budapest, where she was brought up with her older and younger sisters, Magda and Eva.
Her cult status was assured by 1950s B-movies, including Queen of Outer Space in which she plays a rebel Venusian in a slit skirt who falls in love with four Earthmen her man-hating queen wants to destroy. Although she appeared in more than 30 films, Gabor became the embodiment of the phrase "famous for being famous". Her husbands include Jack Ryan, the inventor of the Barbie doll, and, most recently, Von Anhalt, the Duke of Saxony in 1986, making her a princess.
"I don't believe in living in sin, so I always got married," she said.
Her 1993 exercise video – It's Simple, Darling – in which she appears with two hulking Lycra-clad personal trainers has become cult viewing on YouTube.

How does that go? "Jinx 1-2-3 somethingsomething" Anyway..... I am not aware of EVER having watched a film with Zsa Zsa Gabor in it. Yet, for some reason, I know exactly who she is? How's that? Anyway, it seems her days are coming to an end. Very sad. Or not. Just goes to show it can happen to all of us - it was a fall and hip problem that led to my Nan's demise. People should be wrapped in bubble wrap upon their 90'th birthday. I'm intrigued as to why watching "Jeopardy" should have anything to do with it.

Riot said in her thread that she's never seen one of her films yet knows who she is. I agree. I think she's one of those celebrities who's famous for being famous. She's been married lots of times, maybe that made her famous.
No, having just googled her, she made lots of films and t.v. appearances. Just nothing really good.

Spot on there. She was of course one of those who popped up as the most impersonated too.

I seem to remember her being impersonated by men. She did look a bit like a drag queen. (Come to that, I might be remembering seeing her.)
