Watched this movie last night...absolutely brilliant.

I won't tell you anything about the story, it is best watched from a position of ignorance, but I will say that you should see it if you get the chance, there are no space battles, death stars, giant robots from the future or any other things that usually rock my socks...it's a very poignant and human piece of film.

Oh, we also get one of the best computer/HAL9000 type of characters ever concieved. The use of simple smileys (that we are all so common with) to convey his emotions really works (and connects deeper than you'd think).

I watched approximately seven eighths of that film. (I fell asleep near the end I hate old age). (I am waiting until I forget enough about it to watch it again, by the way).

Either way, I could write film reviews for a low quality red-tops with those kind of groaners. ;D

The guy that plays Adrian Monk is the stoned engineer in GQ, he was my favourite char
