Probably not enough hot babes, big explosions or giant robots smashing each others faces for the "modern discerning audience". Animation looks sweet, story also looks nice - I'll keep my out for it on DVD or Blu-Ray. AH

AH In the same way the story is about a man stuggling to keep the old arts alive against the swell of modern music - the artwork of the cartoon was all done by hand too. Probably be the last one to be too!

Don't get me wrong, I always have time for a good action movie, babes with smashing faces and giant robots from the space-future (hey, I'm one of the people who enjoyed Terminator 4 for it's robotic goodness), it's just that these days, stuff like wot Pat has posted does get overlooked in the rush to go and see the latest "summer blockbuster". Looks fantastic Patrick i doubt it will be the last hand rendered animation.. the Pixar/computer animations are good for what they are, but its a different medium.. i dont think it will die out. i bladdy hope not anyway!
