When Basil and Sybil have a row and she storms off and he forces Polly to pretend she's Sybil, but they make out she's sick in bed and in a darkened room so the friends who are visiting won't realise who it is. Fawlty Towers was my favourite and my best. This is where Alpha and I have always parted company.  |

not many people realise this, but there was actually only ever one episode of fawlty towers ever made.. its just that your brain has spent your lifetime learning that this visual signal means different episodes but this is a singular episode designed to confuse.
