Went to "Pizza Margherrita" a week or so back. (Time flies these days dunnit!?). Eeeeennneeewayyyy. Had the tidiest looking Eton Mess I've ever seen! What d'you reckon? Kind of takes the fun out of it really. "Eton Tidy"? Not meringue - but for the record; Other half had this - White Chocolate Mousse with Forest Fruits (or summat like that); Teeny, but right for her.

Loving it.
In future, every time one of us goes out for a posh meal (or even a skanky one) I want to see photos of pudding . . .

This is so odd. I hadn't made meringues for ages but yesterday I did. Then Pat revived this thread.
Very queer.

Sadly the pudding was the best part. They burnt the pepperoni on the Pizza and it gave it a "Petrol-ey" flavour. Review hereTurns out we weren't the only one to have a singed one!

That Trip Advsior is getting a bit stalkerish, do you find? I was quite happily on it as Riotgrrl, but now somehow it has worked out my real name (which I use on Facebook) and is linking me to my Facebook account.

I think it's the "Facebook" effect. You casually accept to link your T.A account with it, not realising/forgetting the power of their software set up. I'd honestly not heard of Trip Advisor until that hoohaa over one hotel trying to fight back against malicious reports. I was determined not to succumb - a bit like that day we were all swearing we'd never join Facebook and then did it en-mass! (Was that a JSG moment or an Orchard one?)
