I was wondering earlier whether it would be possible to conjure up a drinking game whilst watching tomorrow night's 'festivities'. I s'pose it might be a tad disastrous (and a short evening) were you to take a drink every time a result is called. Any suggestions?

A drink for every SNP win!
(Could be a long, sober night.)
How about a drink every time a seat changes hands? That might be manageable?
I've got Friday off work so I can stay up all night and watch. i'm so excited. (I'll probably fall asleep on the couch about 1pm. I've got an early start in the morning.)

I fall asleep after a couple of glasses, so I shall have to stick to Green Party victories if I am to see out the night .
(Sorry, Jean! )

As an independent non-partisan observer, I shall drink a glass of the local red for every result in every constituency. I may logon a little late tomorrow. Madame can supervise the Friday market without me.

I shan't be staying up as I have to negotiate the A12 tomorrow morning. Did I mention that last week somebody stopped dead in front of me and started backing up - on a dual carriageway!
Once past the M25 turn off, towards London the driving becomes appalling.
I might just have a couple of glasses of wine with my dinner - and possibly a glass of scotch later on.

Your car - it isn't green is it? There used to be an urban myth that green cars attracted bumps and bashes. Y'know, one of these odd surveys that insurance companies bring out occasionally!

No, I have a new car and it's a dark blue Ford Focus. It's a very nice car to drive too.
I've had 4 accidents in the last 10 years - all of them not my fault and all involving young men driving too close to the rear of my car. In two of them I was at a roundabout, in another at traffic lights and in the last accident I had actually been stationary for a short while in a queue of traffic. The bloke was a taxi driver and I suspect (but can't prove) that he was on his mobile phone. I was in Basildon - a town that I seldom visit and never shall again if I can help it.
Last week I couldn't believe what I was seeing and fortunately I, unlike the young men above, leave a reasonable distance between my car and the one in front. The idiot was a white van driver who'd missed his turn off so thought it a good idea to back up on a dual carriageway.
