Ok, I'm a busy woman these days, so little time for niceties.
1 - Breakfast - toast - spreading cheese but of course. That's what you have on yer wholemeal for bkfst.
2 - Ireland - Romanticised visions a go go. There is a bleak and harsh reality.
3 - Winnie-the-Pooh - see Ireland.
Cheers

So glad you could join us. I was beginning to wonder where you were. I have my second yoga class tomorrow morning.

So glad you could join us. I was beginning to wonder where you were. I have my second yoga class tomorrow morning. I was leaving for my yoga class last night when they phoned and told me not to come as it was cancelled. I've been yogaless all year now. Gothboy did point out that, it being yoga, I could jus tput the mat down at home and do it, but it's not the same.

No, one needs an expert to come along and adjust the bits that have got out of shape.
Apart from anything else, I get on the mat and can't think of anything to do beyond the basic cat and bridge movements. All those more tortuous positions just go out of my head!

I have flash cards of the main positions I use. But befrore I got the Salute to the Sun off-pat, it was kind of awkward doing it whilst looking at the card. Ideally you would have a whole routine off pat and just lay down your mat anywhere and everywhere and get stuck in . . . but motivation is always a factor, innit.

I got back a couple of hours ago. She's breaking us in gently I think. It was nice and relaxing with a few relatively easy positions. I'd have trouble remembering them though, and in any case I'd feel a bit self-conscious doing it at home on my own. Sounds daft, but it's true.

Oh, I have no hope of remembering a Salutation of the Sun routine right through, though I could do bits I suppose.

Low fat spread [blurgh] at the ready..and then I sit down here and ..... ...DAMN YOU ALL!!!...toast and marmalade while I wait for my low fat repast... OMG...I'd forgotten how good it was...**dribble**

The Honour is to Serve. [Ancient Klingon Proverb.]All I've had today is Lincolnshire pork sausages, mash, onion gravy, and mushy peas, washed down with an excellent pint of Salopian Hop Twister at Wetherspoon's. I'm bloody sure the portions are smaller this year. (Except the pint -- still the old familiar traditional 568ml, plus a drop or two.) [My kitchen's still out of action. Burst pipe flood]

You'd have to eat a lot to get even half of your the five a day, Pat. I've just made two batches of marmalade (one with ginger) and it works out at an orange per jamjar's worth. The sugar works out at about .....
......oh, I'll have to come back to you over that. My recipe was from Mrs Beeton and therefore in lbs.

Home made marmalade is the best! As is home made jam. The shop bought stuff doesn't come anywhere near it (except possibly the Wilkinsons (Tiptree) one, which is quite dear)
I had boiled egg and toast with marmalade this morning for breakfast (I ate some of the toast without the marmalade while eating the egg, just in case you think I eat weird stuff. Actually I had two eggs)

This story has got me to eat marmalade again.
All we had in was some lime marmalade, which was too sweet. So last week I went to Sainsbury's and got some regular stuff - just Robinson's, nothing fancy (they've discovered Paddington, after all this time).

I think it's our British duty to eat marmalade.

It sure is.
That bitterness in it is something that had never occurred to me before; I don't think it's ever put me off.
