Whether or not you like the comedian Michael McIntyre, this clip really went home. It's almost as if he's been looking in one of the drawers in our kitchen. Everything he mentioned, with the exception of the pesetas, is there.

Everything he mentioned, with the exception of the pesetas, is there. Pesetas. That leaves a bad paste in my mouth, because on the very first day the Euro was released into the wild in Holland, I went in a newsagent to buy the Radio Times. It was the only shop within miles that had it. The twat gave me change containing peseta coins. He looked guilty when I pointed it out, so I denounced him loudly to the whole shop, and never ever went back. I bloody HATE to be taken for a fool. <insert joke here> (I've seen the occasional Eurocent coin in change here, but as often as not it's worth more than what I should've got.)
