This one is a must. Mr. E. and I saw it this evening and, blimey, it's a good one. Natalie Portman is superb and she acts her socks off. She's a pretty good ballet dancer too. It's quite a dark tale with some pretty near the mark sex scenes, but excellent stuff. It's left me all agitated and I can't stop thinking about it.

A ballet dancer I saw talking about it said that it was nothing like real ballet, the girl on girl stuff was good, so she enjoyed it. (Hmmm. I don't like ballet, but...)

I only knew Natalie Portman from the Star Wars films where she is terrible but recently watched Leon in which she is ridiculously good (and only 13 at the time).
It is always a sign of a great film when you keep thinking about it a lot after watching it.

Is it the queen with the silver space-ship? She looks a right prat. But apparently she can act, you say. Must be the material. No surprise there then. In the immortal words of Obi-Wan, "You go in slowly on the left."

As I said, there were some quite near the mark girl-on-girl sex scenes, which had Mr. E. sitting up and paying attention, but I suppose it was necessary as part of the story. Anyhow, it's definitely worth seeing.

Mila Kunis, who has an intense girly scene with Natalie Portman, is also the voice of Meg in Family Guy. ;D
