Funnily enough, we're having dumplings tonight. I have my brother and his family to stay for a few days, and I have the most mahoosive casserole in the oven, gently cooking. My two nephews are in the hallway playing football. It's pretty much been like a madhouse here this morning, what with my two grandchildren here as well, but they've gone home now. Oh, good news. My daughter's had her scan and it's a girl. Her husband has just heard he's NOT about to be made redundant (which he thought might be on the cards). So a good day all round really. Except for the football. Trubbs: Batter the crepe out of them. Excellent! 'Funnily enough we're having dumplings tonight.' I've never laughed so much in my entire life. I almost choked to death. I'm not sure why. Everso has this habit.

(Funnily enough, Gothboy is kind of hoping that Rangers get put out of Europe soon. After Manchester, does anyone think having Rangers playing ina final in Dublin is going to be a good idea?)

I don't want to sound bitter but I hope you all realise that maybe Ev is not the only one with dumplings - it's just that she's always drawing attention to her dumplings whereas Bonbon and Riot and the rest of us Stubbettes are more modest.

You think I didn't notice? It's just that I'm too much of a gentleman to say to Mrs YI, "Look at those hooters!" And then the naan incident distracted me. Riot? More of the same (only on that occasion Mrs YI wasn't there not to tell). I notice these things.

Oh Weyland , you are such a gentleman that you are virtually aristocracy.

Oh Weyland , you are such a gentleman that you are virtually aristocracy. Consultation Department: Ev — is the above an insult? I have to ask 'cos I'm only a man.

My dumplings were the talk of the evening, btw.

My dumplings were the talk of the evening, btw. We talked of little else on the Chat session, where your absence was duly noted and entered in the Official Black Book. I may have accidently typed "spank" at one point in the proceedings. I think a good time was had by all, except possibly Chris, who was overawed by Trubs and Riot. (As was I, of course.)

I wasn't much use last night tbh. I apologise to Weyland, Rob, Riot and Trubbs. Just felt a little jaded.
