Settle an argument: salt & vinegar on chips - which goes first? Aubrey is correct. The vinegar goes on AFTER the salt in order to soak it up. WHAT??? You're both mad. Where's Trubbs? |

Jack Aubrey, is that? I once tried reading one of those books. At one point, where one bloke gives another bloke some gold coins, it said something like, he let a golden shower trickle into the man's hand. It was a really clumsy piece of overwriting.  Some people just have no idea, do they? |

Vinegar first, so the salt can stick to the chips. AH That settles it. The vinegar first team wins!  Unless Trubbs comes along and screws it up.  |

Sea salt or rock salt? Or cheap salt from Tesco?
Balsamic, wine, or cider vinegar? Or cheap vinegar from Tesco?
