...would be his 76th birthday today, one of the most important childrens authors EVER in my opinion. Everybody loves the Mr. Men & Little Misses. Class! So, who is your favorite Mr. Man/Little Miss? AH

I liked the narration, but I was the wrong age when it started, so I never really got it (if I'd been a bit younger or a bit older...).

I used to read these books to my son and daughter and now I read them to my grandchildren.
Mr. J-J-J-J-Jelly is my favourite.

Was there a Little Miss Bitchface? I liked her.

My favourite was, and still is, Mr Bump, because that's the first one I ever saw. Great little books. The Works was selling some for next to nowt last year. I bought a couple and gave them to the "kids". They were pleased.

Was there a Little Miss Bitchface? I liked her. Is this her? Now that's just plain not-nice Mr Yutani! But you have reminded me that I am still using my Christmas avatar (which is surely some kind of shocking faux pas.) Need to fix that!

I saw that grrl had finally been recognised as an official word - but you lot had been ahead of the curve on that one.
Of course, coming so soon after the massive SNP victory, I can't help but wonder if this is my lucky time. Should I play the lottery this weekend?

Today, Tuesday, is the 10th.

I remember buying Mr. Bump plasters for my children when they were little (they still wouldn't put them on though - what is it about children and plasters? The grandchildren are scared stiff of them)

It's just your children, Everso. And they passed it on.
I can't ever remember being scared of plasters. The idea!

Well maybe the Eversos are a queer bunch after all. The grandchildren are terrified of plasters and creams ("I don't want the cream") WTF?

Was there a Little Miss Bitchface? I liked her. Little Miss Naughty is the best you are going to get... She is quite naughty though, I'm pretty damn certain that she stole that hat from Princess Beatrice at the recent Royal wedding. ;D And who could this be...? AH

My grandson would prefer a raw wound dripping with blood.

Do you think the Eversos are queer folk, Trubbs? I'm starting to get a bit worried.
Have any children in your family ever been frightened of plasters and creams?
