www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/series7/candidates.shtmlOK, Natasha doesn't have an extra c. I have no idea where I got that from. Wee teeny tinsy ballet girl is called Helen Louise. Science boy is called Tom. And there's a Glen, not a Guy, who was Cat food PM. And there's Leon left in .. who I think I get confused with Glen. Weird - Edward Hunter has been sacked I think (his light is off on that link) and I already have forgotten completely who he was or what he did or why he was sacked.

Oh you and Science boy . . match made in heaven. (What's his right name anyway?). Can I be the bridesmaid? I'd love that. I could come and visit you both at once and be both of yours best friend. (Struggled with grammar on that bit there . . at work and rushing home to do dinner party.) Um, yes, okay you can be the best friend / bridesmaid but that means you have to throw the hen party and I'll be expecting a good one, none of your tat now. I want a veil. And an L plate. And some tequila jellies. I think his name is Tom but that's not important right now. He is Tom and he has a lovely French-looking surname so that will be quite distinguished if you decide to be a total sell-out and change your surname to match his (although I will be cross if you do; I always am. My friends find it irritating that I keep getting cross about their surnames.) organising your hen party would be an honour and a challenge. I would do you proud, I really would. It would be very well organised. Unlike my dinner party this evening that I must go run round Sainsburys for (and see if there's anything I can pick up and pass off as my own cooking.)

Hands up, who thought NornIron Jim was going to thump the builder? And who thought he would take out a contract on him?

It was a difficult task 'though - or else it wasn't explained properly to the viewer. It took me the longest time to work out what the business model was - as was the case for Zoe also it seems.
She's irritating me now. She was so dogmatic in the board room but the evening of the 1st day of the task there she was, bubbling like a child in the corner. I'm so over her.
Helen has finally become identifiable, and isn't she shining?
Goodby to Edna - not my type.
Jim shoulda hooked the builder. Now THAT would have been good TV.
I'm loving Tom, I'm seeing the butterfly emerging in Helen.
Glenn seems all right.
Susan is a waste of space - I hate smug wee pretty-pretty girls like her. Never get tired of slapping her. (I would.)
Next week the magazine, and one of the teams (whatever one Natasha's going to be in) are doing some kind of soft porn effort. Oh that's going to be a bad idea, I feel it in my bones . . .

Natasha is only two steps away from being certifiable.
(Those two steps are finding the required doctor who can bear to be in a room with her for half an hour, and her joining the MCL.)
Unlike the others, Helen doesn't look utterly incompetent. If that's what you mean by shining.
Yes, it was a hard task, and I am being mean. Why does Melody have that weird voice? Is it a medical condition?

OMG - HE DIDN'T FIRE JIM.
The whole way through the episode the way they edited it it was looking like a total no-brainer that Jim was going to go. Those clever editing people - how they love to tease us.
Actually, the editing of The Apprentice is very clever indeed. They manage to cut it to put suspense and red herrings laced through every episode. They don't just point the cameras and film what's happening - very clever.
I was wondering if they already know who the finalists are and if the entire series is edited in a particular way to tell a story that will lead us all to the eventual winner, or do they edit the first episode before they even know who the winner is?
Natasha last night - horrible. What a low-life. At least Helen and Tom had the class to see that. I couldn't believe that her team won. That was a travesty. Apart from the dreadful name and front cover, Jim's idea for a magazine was far better and more current.
Down with Natasha. Up with Helen and Tom.
Susan . . will she now be a changed girl and race to the prize? That's certainly the storyline being set up.
Poor old Glenn 'though. He didn't really do anything wrong. He seems nice enough.

Glen was one of the very few to actually have ever done any useful work, so naturally he had to go. Natasha should've been sacked regardless of the money, but that's not how business works. NornIron is being saved for a future confrontation. Tom's the only decent one left now that Ellie and Zoe have gone. I'd missed two episodes and was distraught to find them gone. I liked them, especially Ellie. A fine figure of a woman. Edna was an empty shell. I'm surprised she lasted so long. Has to be Tom.

Zoe is still there Weyland, complete with her flat northern vowel sounds.

Zoe is still there Weyland, complete with her flat northern vowel sounds. Is she?! Good. Them be Midlands vowels, lassie, but she can't help it. Northern vowels are not flat — they're pure. I am the living proof. Then it's Tom or Zoe. Heart with Zoe; head with Tom. Still miss Miss Ellie.

I am still speechless. I gasped even more loudly when Glenn was fired than I did when Jim escaped the board room before.
This isn't just mind control. This is something from M&S. This is mesmerising.

Helen, Tom and Melody for last three standing?

Trubs, is that who you want in the last 3 or who you expect in the last 3?
I have both Tom & Helen in my WANT list and EXPECT list.
But not Melody in either. I don't care for her at all.
In the event that they don't bring back the maligned Ellie (of whom, like Weyland, I'm a fan) I think Zoe or Susan will be in the last 3, maybe both. Sugar likes their fighting spirit.
I would like to see Jim in the last 3. He's hilarious to watch, and Sugar is obviously seeing something in there or else he'd have kicked him out as expected last night.
Oh isn't it exciting! How will I cope when it's over? Why can't it be on every night? Why don't they do endless repeats of old serieses (series? Sp and grammar Nazis please advise) on BBC 4 or something?

Helen, Tom and Melody for last three standing? I forget who Helen is, but Melody gets right up my nose, and can't even talk proper. Not that that would stop Sralan.

She'd win. Imagine all the Stubbies on The Apprentice. What a palaver. Imagine the crap inventions we'd come up with -- if you thought everycat was bad you ain't seen nothing. And Riot would win. But you'd give her a good fight, Wey.
