I can't watch Garrow's Law as the lead character looks my school bully. But the villains always look like present-day Tory MPs. Great casting. Trubs won't be watching anymore, now that the real hero, the Geordie solicitor, has kicked the bucket.

Trubbs, I missed The Great Escape, but thanks for telling me. Actually, I know it almost scene for scene, together with dialogue. And Steve on that bike - 'Twas I, Ev. So it was, Weyland! Sorry. Thanks anyway.

What's the point without him?

The series had a story based on a real case with Garrow acting for the defence. Apparently it did happen as shown, except that the real Garrow was prosecuting. Chiz. I suppose Taxi rank and all that; but I'll stick with Rumpole.
