I'm currently obsessed by this film, Dammit. I caught it last year on Film4 for the first time - and watched it again later in that week as I didn't see it all that time - and I've been hooked on the damn thing. This comment on Youtube sums it up quite well:
Current state of affairs is that I torrented it recently and put it on the phone as well to watch a bit before bedtime.
Here's the rub though. I've never bothered to watch anything with Russell Crowe in, can't say I even like him that much. I certainly have never been a fan of Peter Mayle - whose over exposure a few years back put him firmly in the "overrated" department. A Good Year itself is a fairly ordinary story, Crowe's accent is a bit dodgy in places in this too! What the hell is it about it though? I adore it!
Now also got Edmundo Ros going through my head on a loop too!
Tell me I'm not alone in these sudden mad crushes?

Downton Abbey (first series) is my default ironing dvd.
