Top Cat is a glamorization of the criminal underworld and an attack on decent, honest law abiding society.
If I was making the movie, it would end with Officer Dibble shooting TC in the legs, cuffing him and telling him he is "going down"...the final shot would be of TC being strapped into "old sparky" whilst sobbing uncontrollably and regreting his criminal past.
The breakdown of moral decency and the familly unit can be directly traced to this vile creation.

Dibble's as corrupt as a James Ellroy cop (there is an episode that points this out.)
Not sure about a film, like.

Let us not forget that the Radio Times - and the BBC called it "Boss Cat" because there was already a Cat Food called "Top Cat" and it would have seemed like an advertisement if they'd mentioned it!

I thought the name change had something to do with the Americans. Which goes to show you can't blame the Yanks for everything you don't like,
Loved Top Cat for half an hour every week - but a feature film might be pushing my concentration span a bit too far.
