I got back in, and was talking to Arealfarmer, but it was like he couldn't read me. He complained I wasn't talking, then it kicked me out again. If you are getting ping timeout errors (which you are) this is your fault, and it is your connection. Are you uploading ludicrous amounts of stuff to the BT Vault still? If so, turn it off and try again  |

If you have connection problems at other times when everyone's "online" perhaps you should think of having a second phoneline installed? A standard phoneline can only accept a maximum of four telephones for instance, it makes you wonder what the equivalent of a computer is? Until we all get fibre-opticised (if ever that's going to happen) Some folk are going to struggle still.

Thats not a bad plan but last time riot kept getting "kicked out" she couldnt join the channel here either.
Incidentally, the channel is not kicking her out, she is using up all her bandwidth and so the chat server is pinging her out (as her computer is not responding). This is the same behaviour that will occur if you get disconnected.
Has anyone else had problems with the chat server? Hopefully riot has finished uploading all of her stuff to BT Vault (I think that is what you were using?) as that is what was causing the problems.

We were round the corner at Shimla Pinks for Gothboy's 39th Birthday and I had a couple of large glasses of red, then one more for luck in the pub afterwards. Oh yeah, and I can't drive anyway. However, I'm very very very good at getting taxis if that helps at all . . .? |
