In line with the considerable amount of traffic parking in The Driveway lately - I'd like to bring folk's attention to how we operate here. There is a thread further down this section which Welcomes people to the board despite it being empty and please not to expect much to happen here. Well, it seems to be happening so Please take note of the following:
This board has become (much to my surprise) what it has, essentially by being nice!! It helps to have avoided endless bland and boring and disruptive posts on religion for one thing. I'd like that to be born in mind.
I've deliberately made the member rankings effeminate in the hope that no one can be truly nasty when they've got "Fluffy and Lovely" above their name - and I have to say - excessive playground hair pulling and nastiness will be dealt with in a non fluffy manner. There are other places for that.
So Ladies and Gentleman we would prefer an atmosphere of decency and common courtesy for all - a place where gentleman doff their hats to all and everyone is treated with respect! If a serious subject happens to be brought up - let us look upon it from a fluffy point of view and try not to let any nastiness get in the way.
Not much in the way of rules however should you fall foul of them and get suspended or banned - in the words of Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz:

All the planning charts and demolition orders have been on display in your local planning department in Alpha Centauri for fifty of your Earth years, so you've had plenty of time to lodge any formal complaint and it's far too late to start making a fuss about it now.'"
