Apparently it's today.
What's it for?
If you're not a Cafflick, and you're not 'doing Lent', do you still have to eat pancakes?
Anyway, we're not. It's steak pie tonight for dinner.
I don't even know how to make a pancake. And I never will. As I suspect the grip of the Whore of Babylon aka Pope of Rome in all this pancake making. Please advise.

I had some pancakes on Sunday. But when we choose to eat pancakes it has sod all squared to do with any supposed annual doodahs. We just have them when we fancy them

Pancakes are great especially with lemon juice and sugar on them. Karen always wants to make the rubbish US ones which are thicker and wants to put Maple Syrup on them!

Actually, I'm not sure if the little pancakes - the "Griddle Cakes" as they are know didn't come before the pancake? It's worth investigation innit?

Only perverts eat pancakes. Oooh! Are they evil Like Cheese then? Can I recount (again) the story of how I got my whole infants class involved in a wall hanging for school based on the theme I suggested of "Pancake Land"? Where we had Pancake People in Pancake houses who drove round in Pancake cars? I got to take it home aftewards.

I missed it-well I missed most of yesterday.
Something got stuck in my throat Monday evening and I coughed and wretched so much my ribs ached and my throat was really painful all Tuesday so I wimped off to bed.
I can sort of speak today but it`s like my voice is breaking again-deep bass one moment and a pathetic squeak the next

I used to love bacon and maple syrup in The Pancake Place. Followed by apple and icecream-bliss!

Pancakes are Mini-Trub's favourite food in the world.
She also like prawns incidentally although we've never mixed the two evils.
Oh, what have I done to deserve such an errant daughter?!?!

I used to love bacon and maple syrup in The Pancake Place. Followed by apple and icecream-bliss! Apple and Ice Cream - that's nice - but Bacon and Maple Syrup!? Gosh! Saw a recipe once for pancake day and I'm going to draw a text picture here - like this: Pancake Sliced Apple Pancake Sliced Apple Pancake Sliced Apple Pancake. A scattering of raisins or sultanas throughout is optional - and a drizzle of Calvados probably wouldn't go amiss - then you bake it to soften the apples, take it out and smother it with cream, Bit of a Pancake Orgasm if you ask me.

I hate making pancakes. I always have the first two turn out wrong. Yesterday, I lost my temper and threw the bloody frying pan in the sink and when I washed it up later on I discovered a dent in it.
That will show it.
