Those tedious shirts that have been around for years saying "I went to <place> and all I got was this lousy T-shirt"

Ooh, in addition to those stoopid fancy glasses, I would add: People who wear sunglasses indoors because they think they look cool or hard like the Terminator or something

You mean like Johnathon Ross? Did you ever see 'Nuts in May' directed by Mike Leigh? It was a t.v. play back in the 70s but must have been shown since. It had a great character in it called Candice Marie (played by Alison Steadman). She was such a drip and couldn't pronounce her Rs. Not in the Jonathan Ross way, but in a well spoken pratty way. Anyhow, that's the sort of person I meant. I never listen to JR nowadays. He really gets on my nerves.

I liked his "Japanorama" programmes, but I thought his constant innuendo got boring. I mentioned it to the BBC (I think it was), and I got the reply "well it was after the watershed so it's okay" I didn't say it was offensive, I said it was unnecessary and brought down an otherwise very good programme

I think the same about QI. You're right. I've seen a few of those, and after a couple of programmes, it just seemed repetitive

I love Mike leigh.

You feel so protected. It's true that eyes are the windows.
