It might end up looking better! I've never tried a nigella recipe - are they easy to follow? Delia Smith is my cooking guru, her recipes never fail.

Pavlova's nice for breakfast! Mmmmmm!
My Mummy says none of Delia's recipe's work. (She's not a fan.)
Rick Stein's recipes are written up in the wrong order.
My Queen of cooking is Mary Berry - excellent!
........and I've got this encyclopaedic size book of "Low Fat" recipes which have some fantastic fish and salad ones in. Don't think it's even got a name on the front of that one.

I hate to argue with your mother when I've never even met her but apart from the typo in the souffle recipe that says 50mls of milk instead of 150mls, Delia is perfect. It must be something Mummy done wrong herself and blemt Delia.

Delia is Queen of cook books! Growing up at home my mother taught me nothing about cooking and school taught me even less. Upon moving out into my own home I bought one cook book to teach me the basics... thankyou Queen Delia.

No! ;D Marguerite Patten Is the Queen of Queen of cooks (I feel a poll coming on!) and for an extra simple lesson in basics - before Delia ever got there:
