It was not bad.. she was pretty lively onstage from what i remember. they were supporting Mansun, or Mansun were supporting them ,i forget now. i prefer her in this video.

i did enjoy the 90s muchly, i did a lot more clubbing and gigging in that decade than what i get round to now.. ~good times~ i dunno if the music was better, but it certainly holds some flippin marvellous memories qwuite frankly Whale were not one of my fave bands, they were ok, my girlfriend of the time was qwuite into them, i didnt mind going to see them thou, nice bit of eye candy and some passable tunes. i tell you who sound really good today- Elastica. maybe cos i aint listened to them in ages. Again, not a fave band of mine at the time, but i saw them a few times ( my girlfriends choice again) and to be fair, they sound really good now i listen back to it. heres a few of their songy things. |

Yeah Elastica woz cool...some great girl-fronted bands back in the day...Elastica, Echobelly, Sleeper, Republica, Ivy, Magnapop, Linus, Veruca Salt, Trashwomen etc.
