Arrest the protesters.
Arrest them all.
Tell them to get sober and get some brains.
I agree with the concept of protesting against globalisation but these guys are just the village idiots.

Indeed. Did you see them start kicking off just before the stupid BBC decided the weather was more important? I would've had the roof top snipers picking off the leaders by now, some 5.56 policing is needed here...and advising people to dress down is a disgrace, imagine telling black people to white up because the NF were on the prowl, there would be outrage. I watched it develop on SKY and you could see it building up from nothing to injuring that police officer.
It's ridiculous.

I've been watching for an hour or so, the police have been impecable in their behaviour. I wish I was charge of policing, they wouldn't have to put up with this.
These anarchists really are the scum of the earth.
I also notice that the BBC have now stopped giving us live feed so we can judge for our selves who is starting the trouble.

I thought that was funny. Apparently someone arrived to work dressed in a bowler hat and carrying an umbrella, the commentator described him in awe filled tones as 'one very brave man'.

AH Are you suggesting BBC employees are pushing at the back? The live piece I just watched was enough to prosecute 4 or 5 of the crowd, I reckon. Especially that moron that produced some sort of japanese fighting stick (probably a broom handle painted black ) and began hammering the police with it....that's be the police just standing still. It was interesting to see the way a push at the back of a crowd can start a riot in seconds.

City workers have been leaning out of windows to wave £10 notes at G20 protesters on the streets below, the Press Association reports. Demonstrators responded with jeers and shouts, their reporter says. Outstanding

It's time for some AH It is! ..mainly because I got my ear worm back now. ..although there could be a very good counter protest if the city men and women would all dress up as those two and sing the kinky boots song whilst parading down the Mall.

The BBC keep stressing how "good natured" it all is, even though windows are being smashed and police are being attacked...no anti-police agendas here...

It strikes me that these protesters are very angry with Scotland and blame Scotland for the recession.
