Digestive biscuits should only be used for dunking in tea. Hear hear. Digestives with cheese....I've never heard the like. Thank heavens there's another sensible person on this board.

There's a Lancashire Cheese that's a little like crumbly Wensleydale - and that's it's name "Crumbly". It's lovely when fresh but only really keeps (even in the fridge) for a day or so. My favourite thing - straying away from biscuits for a moment is to have one or two chunks of cold, creamy crumbly and then tuck into a fresh pickled shallot. Fabulous taste combination!

Aye aye - that's shallot! One of Mr. E's favourite jokes. Gets a bit embarrassing when we're walking round the supermarket and I reach for a jar of shallots.

If someone talks about a "Hollow in the ground" or 'sleepy hollow' or sumfink like that? too? (as in "Hello!" Or is that just us/me?

Does he say chocolate mouse or moose instead of chocolate mousse? If so, he's my old vice principal.

No. If I serve chocolate mousse (and I always get the bought kind in the little yogurt type tubs) he complains that if you knock all the air out you only get a couple of spoonfuls of the mixture. Needless to say, I don't buy them now.

Why can't I vote to eat it by itself?
'Pooh always liked a little something at eleven o'clock in the morning, and he was very glad to see Rabbit getting out the plates and mugs; and when Rabbit said, "Honey or condensed milk with your bread?" he was so excited that he said, "Both," and then, so as not to seem greedy, he added, "But don't bother about the bread, please."'

There was a technical fault. I accidentally hit the "Return" key before I'd finished creating the poll. Hence the lack of options.
