It's still got a boiler, contents of which are at high temperature AND pressure...

I've nearly been on that railway. (It was closed the day I called!) Thankfully the slow speed gave the driver the chance to jump clear. It was a typical "Summer Holiday" story though, The "13 year old" will now either go on to greater things - or hopefully learn a lesson.

True, Patrick. I still recall the driver of a RHDR locomotive being tragically killed after a stupid car driver ignored warning lights and drove into the path of said locomotive & its train. The subsequent collision caused the locomotive to derail & turn on its side. Its driver was crushed against the boiler backhead... The car driver, IIRC, basically got a 'slap on the wrist'...
