and now..........the end is nigh..............and so we face.............the final curtain!
Night folks. Behave! I can see the daylight of tomorrow creeping in already! Oh, did I miss a sing-song late in the chat room? "When you have your very last drink in your hand. And your friends are so stoned they can hardly just stand! There's a song that is sung in each pub in the land!!!!! The Five to Eleven Waltz!"

I see your logic but I prefer to say Goodnight in the hall or sitting room or kitchen - where the people who aren't in your bed logged on can hear it.

I get it! Why not say N'night in the bedroom! It's easier to switch the light out for a start!
Anyway, where was I. Tis 3:45 on the morning that's supposed to be the longest day! (Though usually one or two of the days following are longer - just don't tell the Druids!) May I take this Opportunity to wish all Stubbies a good rest of 2009. Happy Summer Solstice!
I reckon it ought to be a public holiday? Don't you!?
Good Night!

See? No one is paying attention in the bedroom. Don't tell me - you've been up all night again and you're just off now!

Thanks, Patrick. Goodnight - I am off to finish the washing up. I know! It's another crazy Saturday here. And I suspect you will all be gone by time I get back. Thank you all for a most illuminating and entertaining evening.

Goodnight from a rather damp Phillipines. Had a hard day watching many men marking out the foundations of our new house. Now time to eat, it is always time to eat in the Phillipines.

We have a cunning plan to spend the European summer in France and the winter in the Phillipines. We are taking daily photos of the construction of our house, buying furniture and generally arranging things. Staying with relatives for now but we move to a rented house this weekend.
