We have a cunning plan to spend the European summer in France and the winter in the Phillipines. We are taking daily photos of the construction of our house, buying furniture and generally arranging things. Staying with relatives for now but we move to a rented house this weekend. Beats my weekend in Norfolk!

Hope you haven't been affected by the flooding, Alan. That flooding has been annoying me - Well, the reporting of it has been annoying me! You can bet your bottom dollar that if it was New Orleans again half the BBC reporting staff would be over there with helicopters, boats and floating interview booths - but as it's "elsewhere" it doesn't even merit a fifth place mention in the News schedule! Bastards!

Thanks for your concern, Everso, but we are well south of the flood area. There is another typhoon forecast for this weekend. M'Lady is rushing about buying furniture, curtains, pots, pans and TVs, having the time of her life. The house will not be finished until December but we are moving into rented accomodation this weekend. We go to the site every day to take pics for a photo record of it all, I dont know how long this will last.

I need to know if the facilities will be up to scratch when I come to stay. One chaise longue should suffice. Glad you're not affected by the flooding.

Well! We've opened another bottle of wine and Best Beloved is watching the original Sleeping Beauty (Disney) on DVD. So I take it it's not bedtime yet! and I'm kicking myself that I haven't just had a bout of foot in mouth disease. Damnbuggerblast!

I have placed a link to the housebuilding site on the mantlepiece. The methods are rather old-style labour intensive but very efficient.
Memories of England, they were rained-off today.

Phew! Covorting with Mrs E into the late hours! I won't tell if you won't!
You don't know what you've been missing! All you folks out there enjoying yourselves! you ought to be miserable, and home, and in here chatting on a Friday! Honestly!

It's no good! I'm going to have to start giving absentees a good tickle unless they can hand in a note from their Mummy, or other Guardian.
Shocking behaviour!

Nothing since the seventh of January! I don't know! Anyway, the wine glass is empty, and I've no whisky this week - the 'birthday month' is over. There is some genuine Havana rum kicking around, but it's not the same. A pack of Monte Christo cigars have been sent my way too - but that is for the evening when I'm comfortably drunk and full of good food.
So N'night it is!

I Dont recall.. but it appears i may have.. anyway my glass is haldf empty right now, i been drinking all day but the glass has remained steadfastedly halfedly emptily..so drink on i shull. , until i make myself sleep from it tomorrow is bound to be better things are as they say always better in the morninng so i am counting on it and you know i think usually it is true things do seem betterer the morning afterespwciallly if youve got one of those fucked up breakfast molester thingys to make molested breakfasts with, but i aint, but still, there is yoghurt and marmite and the world spins on.

I'm off! (Wondered what that was). Going to be the last warm and sunny week this week for a while folks so dig in and enjoy. I expect Best Beloved will be looking for a final fling on the 'puter in a minute, so I ought to be sociable!
Night night.
