Petrol in my town is £114.9 per litre so today, against all my pricinples, I made a special trip to buy it 3p cheaper at a garage 2.3 miles away. I did visit the nearby superstore, but there was nothing I got there I couldn't have got more locally.
I shan't bother to do that again, but feel I am being held to ransom by the two local petrol stations.

Local Tesco Garage is £1.09 Petrol, £1.21 Diesel - According to the local radio that seems about the average at the moment.
I've not been near a garage or passed one for ages to know! Prices have come down a little bit then.

The petrol in our town always seems to be higher than in surrounding filling stations. The question I'm really asking is: would you go out of your way to re-fuel more cheaply?
