Sort of.
A curious mixture of two different pie types. Minced Beef and onion a-la Cottage pie then layer thinly sliced tomato over the top followed by a layer of thinly sliced courgette! (Don't worry courgette haters, you won't be able to taste it!) - This is the bonkers bit - then make a thick cheese sauce - with the additional ingredients of unsweetened Fromage Frais and an egg yolk and pour that over the top!
When I first did this the sauce re-thinned itself during cooking and it turned into a sort of beefy cheesy vegetable slop. Having another go this eveing. Wish me luck!

Sounds like a moussaka.
Whisk your egg white and stir that in to the cheese sauce to make it a little...fluffy.
