Aubrey, you can get all three original Sinbad flicks for about £8 at Amazon (or play) as well...essential RHH movies IMO. AH

It's occurred to me before that he and I share certain tastes, but the possible explanations for this are so horrific I try not to think about them.
Have you any suggestions that don't involve us possibly being the same person?

I have a huge DVD collection so watch most things again and again.
Favourites are
Gone With the Wind Battle of the Rive Plate (so stiff-upper-lip) Any fluffy Richard Curtis stuff - Four Weddings, Love Actually, etc Steel Magnolias Star Trek (Next Generation & DS9) Ghost Local Hero (best soundtrack ever) Sex and the City episodes (any!) Mama Mia (only musical I've ever really enjoyed - apart from Chicage which was OK)
Oh, there are so many...

And DS9 is a total rip-off of Babylon 5. For shame percyplum, for shame! Reflection, surprise, terror. For the future...AH

No, but the present scenario can't involve him being slagged off if we're trying to find out how far he resembles me, can it? I can think of a few similarities (a very few) but nothing will induce me to reveal them here.

Jean, he's not here. Why do you want to keep talking about him...? I don't! It was Aubrey who mentioned him, not me! And now Alpha has joined in, I have to say he is quite wrong. OK, there's one possible similarity for you.
