I guess this is sort of like "what's your favourite film" except that you can nominate more than one.
Last night in the chat room, Trubbs, Rob, Pat and I were discussing what films we like and which ones we can watch time and again.
Mine are:
The Great Escape Sense and Sensibility (well I am a woman) Titanic (yeah, Chris and I are it's only fans I fear) Gone with the Wind All my Fred and Ginger films

I've just been watching "The Prisoner" again. Still can't work out that ending mind. Best B is re-playing Buffy most evenings at the moment - having acquired a working video once more. I join in occasionally. Where recent things are concerned, we've now watched Alias quite a few times over, Best B was re-watching "V" recently too. She has loads of original Doctor Who's that get a regular outing - and Blakes 7/Stargate etc. I probably nearly know Dawn of the Dead off by heart as she had a thing for watching that quite a lot last year. It's her 'comfort' movie! I don't get a look in that often but I just end up on here then, instead.

The Great Escape is definitely a multi-viewing experience and Steve McQueen gets sexier every time. Some Like It Hot, oh I've lost count of how many times I've seen it, it's just one of those must watches every time it's on. I'm-a-girl-I'm-a-girl-I'm-a-girl-I'm-a-girl-I'm-a-girl-.....The Goodbye Girl. I'm whispering that because that one met with stoney silence last night and everyone politely just moved on. Um... there must be more...

Yes, Everso, that's one of my things too, my Grampa was the fan and it was contagious. And all the Marx Brothers films. When in doubt just stick one of the above on and have a cup of tea.

You really can't beat "Top Hat". Ginger wears the most gorgeous dresses and Fred's dance to "Top Hat, White Tie and Tails" is one of Golden Hollywood's great scenes. >Sigh<

Oh, and we forgot "White Heat" with James Cagney.
Sort of gives the ending away though.
"Made it Ma - top of the world!"

Oh, yes - Some Like it Hot as well. And we're watching Buffy, from the beginning (just came in from the It's a Wonderful Life one). Ah! Got you now! That's a favourite! (It's been a while since we've been through them - the video was broken for ages and we just stuck with DVD's until we remembered to take it to the repair shop. Having started from the beginning ourselves we've just had Angel go bad the first time. "The Gentlemen" has to be my (one of) favourite I think. Oh and folks - and back to films to watch again and again....... Amelie!

Yes! The Gentleman!!! We've got a little Gentleman figurine in our front room. He even has a little thing containing hearts, but the cats keep hiding it.
Angel is good again where we are, but no one but Buffy believes it.

The Ladykillers (original) Guys and Dolls Dawn of the Dead Jason and the Argonauts (on tomorrow afternoon, C5) Oh, I saw that at the cinema when it first came out. I watch it every time it comes on t.v. if I can. I managed to see a few minutes of it this time, but we were going out and Mr. E. had to drag me away. This is the scene that, old as I am, always sends a shiver down my spine. I remember being terrified when I saw it at the cinema!

I just ordered it from Play (£3.99). I would have watched it on Sunday (was it?) but the girls were watching cricket.
Other favourites, that I'd forgot earlier:
The 39 Steps
The Lady Vanishes
North by Northwest
