I don't think the fomer princesses of pop will be able to recapture the magic...or carry off the tight rubber suits from "Venus".  AH |

AH Have to admit, a couple of Cruel Summers ago I replayed their first album and some of it is a tad cringeworthy. Only the teenage me could have fallen for such stuff. I stopped at the third album though when the Stock Aitken and Watermann stuff kicked in proper - though Venus is on that last one - plus one other S.A.W song I think. I didn't settle into music properly until my late teens and twenties really. A bit sad by all accounts. |
