The filming style was annoying, but it was quite well handled - and Keith looked extraordinarily knackered and rather sad. So it was unsurprising to hear that he'd passed away. BBC ObitGrauniad

Just heard Marco Pierre White speaking in the most unbelievably sugary terms about the late Keith.
He was an entertaining watch, but he was first and foremost a famous drunk, wasn't he?

MPW was on "Today" briefly too. I think he ended up drinking as an occupational hazard! He said on the prog last night that his producer would like a full glass in every shot - so invariably he'd end up drinking it!

I loved Keith Floyd...he's my kind of cook. No exact measuring, bung it in, slurp some wine, quick stir (and back to me please Clive), and serve.
Delish every time!

Nice to see the "Chefs" lining up to pay tribute - despite the fact he referred to some of them as a "Bunch of C****" on last night's prog! His belief being that with many of them it's not about the food anymore, and more about "them".
