I'm enjoying this one very much. It's all about an accident on the A12 around the Chelmsford area. I could tell you a thing or two about the A12. It's very exciting to have your home town as the star of a series. They keep mentioning Chelmsford Police too. Doesn't take much to get me excited.

Was it the A12 which got blocked both ends by snow one winter, stranding many cars overnight? I know someone who was caught up in that.

I'm loving this series too, completely hooked. The twists and turns of events leading up to how the collision happened are fascinating. The way it's done, how they reveal a bit more each time, is brilliant.
However, I use the A12 quite often and I've never, ever seen that many police cars on it!

Pretty good ending, reasonably well tied up. I'd recommend this one. The only thing that spoiled it was all the damn adverts. It was an hour long, but I estimated that each episode must only have been about 40-45 minutes, the rest being adverts. Grrrrr.

There was a TV film called "Ligging" which was written for, and based on a fantasy life of, an actor (who I used to know; he once put a fire out at our house) from Gainsborough, Lincs - which he kept saying. It was wonderful, even though I didn't live there any more. (And even though taking a camera to Gainsborough and actually filming there is the very last thing a TV company would do - unless they stay inside the Old Hall, of course. They like that place.)

Gainsborough isn't exactly the most photogenic part of Lincolnshire...

How dare you! Actually, it's a lot nicer these days; it looks like a fairly pretty country town.

Yes, it was, Trubbs. Glad you enjoyed it. We watched Five Daughters this week (Mon, Tues, Wed). I thought it was excellent. It was based on the true story of the murders of 5 prostitutes in Ipswich, Suffolk, that took place a few years ago. I like "Prime Suspect" type series.
