It wasn't one of the unlikeliest lines actually - it was a vital link in the North South infrastructure.................. Sorry! Sorry I won't go on.............

Hi Mark, I am just being silly , but it's my memory from childhood that girls weren't allowed to be given train sets but boys were. Have to say now that despite my protestations at the time I am glad I had Sindy not Thomas.

An all British Sindy Girl then eh? Best Beloved was quite loyal to that one too. Poor old Sindy - always the one who the boys asked to ask Barbie out for them........ I hear from then on it was a tragic tale of homelessness, prostitution, drugs and many years in rehabilitation clinics! As for Thomas - I didn't have any of his books - Enjoying instead the far more "trippy" and way out "Sammy The Shunter"!

Sindy Forever - Barbie Never! As for Sammy the Shunter...looks like a bad'un an no mistake. Poor old Sindy - always the one who the boys asked to ask Barbie out for them........
