Hearing the story of the little boy mauled to death by the dog on the news last night, I thought - you don't get many tales of folk being mauled to death by Pussy Cats!
(leaving aside the BIG ones, for the moment!)

because Bets, I can understand what you mean. I don't like dogs. I wouldn't hurt one, but I really am not keen on their slobbery ways and their doggy smell. They just don't do anything for me, and I guess that's how you feel about cats. You're either a cat person or you're not. We won't hold it against you.

I defy anyone not to smile at this - I was on my daughter's computer yesterday and was showing the kids Youtube clips of cats. We saw this one as well, swl, and thought it so sweet - funny too.

Cats sit on baby's faces, though. Especially cats born in May. That's a fact.

She did always try to get in our daughter's cot though, but only ever laid at the foot of the cot. When our daughter went into a bed the cat always laid at the foot of her bed. She did that until the day she died.
