Jean! stop flirting with me!*  Besides, I think there's a universal messageboard rule that says you can't karma people for work done elsewhere so I will have to smite you for, at the very least, incitement. I think it would be wise if I also smited Alph for General Alphness at the same time but unfortunately I can only manage one per hour. I urge other Stubbys to smite Alph in my name. * Shush. 1. I can't believe that some of you are still using the BBC, and, 2. The old Scots word 'Convener', which is gender neutral, is used widely up here and should be used even more widely. You English are welcome to use it. |

That's used here for meetings too but not for company titles like "Chairman of the Board" (that I've ever heard, I don't hang around with Chairpeople of Boards very much unless you count Patrick). |
