From a local rag in a town near here... I will call it Anytown to protect the guilty.
Anytown's senior citizens have been warned that their anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. If they were younger their antics would be described as thuggish, it was reported this week. Pensioner power kicked in as an exhibition on the controversial seafront re-development opened. Staff at the (.....), which hosted the display on behalf of the Anytown Council, complained of rudeness and aggressive behaviour by some visitors. Many of the culprits were said to be elderly. (...) director said such behaviour was unacceptable. And he warned that management reserved the right to evict anyone who failed to behave decently.
"While we are familiar with local visitors expressing strong opinions, we were shocked at the anger and rudeness towards our staff."

Trends go both ways. I've noticed an increase in oldies not saying thank you to doors held open for them, or when you give way in a crowded shopping area. I don't know, when will they learn eh?
