I'm not looking forward to "The Remains" - Usually we pick up the minibar packs for a pound in S'bury's - but not having been too near one this week we've got "Ghostly lollies" and Eyeballs from Aldi and a couple of bags of "Classic Sweets" i.e: Refreshers, Love Hearts, Parma Violets? (Hated those when little ) and other lollies which was a BOGOF from the Spar earlier. Two so far - one little lot dressed in skeleton pirate outfits and a couple of girls who might have been devils or might have been Red Riding Hood - I can't say! Couple of years ago there was a group of little'uns being looked after by their older - somewhat scantily clad (aka Buffy the Vampire Slayer) sisters - now they were scary! Two more just then - Piratey skeletons again! Most of them are very good - just taking just one sweetie each! They are all going away shouting "I got a eyeball!" So they're popular then! I like choccies better - I'll pop round in a minute then - help you finish 'em!

Only one mini bag of maltesers left but still a good feww milky ways, mars and twirls. Spiderman, superman, a drag queen, about 30 frightful messes, a few little princesses and 3 best friends who were really cross that I didn't ask them for their poem before I gave out the goodies. A couple of years ago I was being grumpy (like today) and a little 2 year old (or younger) lion just leant up and kissed me while I was tring to fit the packet of buttons into her or his collecting-bag. I have never got over it. It was the sweetest thing and all fluffy and tickly.

I've been dealing with them on me own - as Best B is having a lie down with back ache. (That was her excuse anyway! ) Getting very thirsty now, and toying with the idea of daring to pop up the road for another bottle of wine to give me an excuse to open the one we've already got?
Damn find idea.
